December 18th…why is this day special? Because it’s the day Patrick Darby was born – although I won’t tell you how many years ago. Nor will I play the “guess the right age and win a prize game” that I was considering. Why not, you ask? Simple…I really like my job!
So who is the man behind the birthday? Patrick Darby is the Studio Manager here at Tonic Photo Studios. He’s had a passion for photography since he was in high school, and decided to pursue it as a career. He studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design, where he graduated Suma Cum Laudi. Patrick has enjoyed a career as a commercial photographer since 1996, and has been with Tonic Photo Studios for the past six years. When he’s not working, he’s enjoying his beautiful family.
He won’t personally brag about his accomplishments, so I’ll do it for him:
Patrick Darby Has:
- Won several Addy awards, both for the studio and individually
- Had numerous gallery exhibits
- Managed and grown a successful business at Tonic
- Been recruited nationally as an expert in his field
- Did I mention he graduated Suma Cum Laudi? Smarty Pants.
